Ball Python

Ball Python
The ball python is from Africa.

And when they are full grown it can eat a rabbit, but usually small mammals.
It can grow 4 feet and that is as long as small child.
It hunts all night and sleeps all day.

  • Ball Pythons are, by far, the most common snake kept in captivity.
  • There are also more known morphs (mutations, such as albinos) with ball than any other reptile.
  • Many people breed them for a living.
  • Generally, their temperament is calm and mellow but sometimes they are aggressive.
  • Without snakes that prey on rodents, the world would be overrun with mice and rats. Predators keep their numbers down and reduce the risk of diseases that are carried by the rodents.
